A closer look at the medial temporal lobe in aging and neurodegenerative diseases
Our research is centered on aging and neurodegenerative diseases. We use neuroimaging, with a special focus on the medial temporal lobe, to gain a better understanding of disease mechanisms of different neurodegenerative diseases, and to develop useful and sensitive biomarkers for clinical practice and clinical trials. Our ultimate goal is to contribute to the development of treatments for all neurodegenerative diseases.
