New additions to the team

Autumn 2023 – two new PhD students are welcomed – Amanda Annettesdotter and Gustaf Rådman!

Amanda will focus on investigating accumulation of pathology and neurodegeneration in the amygdala and cognitive and neuropsychiatric symptoms as a result thereof. The project will utilize rich ex vivo datasets to gain a better understanding of the underlying pathologies, as well as large comprehensive in vivo datasets to characterize the role of imaging markers of the amygdala in changes in neuropsychiatric and cognitive symptoms.

Gustaf will focus on the structural and functional integrity of the medial temporal lobe making use of a variety of measures including structural and functional MRI, eye-tracking, EEG, and behavioral assessments of memory and visuo-spatial information processing.
